I have two Thunderbirds project cars for sale. A 1955 and 1957. These cars have been in heated, dry storage for 35 years. The '55 is a very nice restoration project. This car was originally from Hawaii. It was a warrant officer's car, and it has a base pass for a nuclear research facility, as well as 1969 license plates. The car is mostly complete, with both parts and chrome accessories. The car has orginal floor pans and original trunk pan. Someone started restoring this car years ago, and most of that work will need to be redone to meet today's standards. The car was originally Torch Red, and retains some of the original paint, but much of it is in primer today. This car has a factory Ford crate engine (312), purchased years ago, in place, but has never been started. The price on this car is $13,000.
Many pictures are available.
If the first car didn't pique your interest, maybe the second one will. The 1957 Thunderbird is rare "E" Bird, and retains its dual 4 barrel intake and carburetors. This is a very solid project car. Only 1499 of these cars were produced, and how many are left? This car has 46k original miles. The original longblock has been replaced with a factory Ford crate engine, as well (never started). All VIN#'s are in place and the original factory invoice (from Ford to the dealer) goes with the car. The engine dress kit is still on the car. The 3 speed overdrive transmission is still in place. The color is Colonial White. It has power windows and power seats. This car is a great investment at $39,000.
Reasonable offers accepted.
