Classic Thunderbird Club International

ARTICLE I: Organization

 

The name of this club shall be Classic Thunderbird Club of Delaware Valley, hereinafter referred to as the Club. This Club is chartered as Chapter 13 of the Classic Thunderbird Club International, hereinafter referred to as CTCI. The mailing address of the Club shall be that of the incumbent President. The Club shall be a non-profit organization.

 

ARTICLE II: Purposes

 

The Club shall encourage and promote the preservation, restoration and ownership of the Classic 1955, 1956 and 1957 Ford Thunderbirds and provide a medium to promote friendships and social activities for owners and admirers of these vehicles. The Club shall provide a medium for exchange of ideas, information and safety relating to these vehicles and engage in any other activity that will promote interest in the preservation of these vehicles.

 

ARTICLE III: Membership

 

Membership shall be open to all persons interested in the purposes of this Club. There shall be one class of membership. The rights and privileges of all members shall be equal unless otherwise noted by these By-Laws. New membership in the Club is obtained by submitting an application and by payment of a new member initiation fee, and the annual dues. The initiation fee and annual dues shall be set by the Board of Directors. Each year’s annual dues are payable in full on April, 1 of the year and become delinquent if not paid by May, 1 of the year. Non-Payment of the annual dues by June, 1 of the year will result in automatic termination of the membership. Membership may be reinstated only upon resubmission of an application along with initiation fee and annual dues for the current year.

All members of the club should be current members of CTCI and should denote their membership number on the Club application. Membership of a household shall apply to both husband and wife and any children of legal driving age. Only one (1) dues is required of the household. The Board of Directors has the exclusive power and discretion to reject the application for membership of any person, deemed contrary to the stated purposes of the Club. A membership in the Club is not transferable or assignable.
